Vivaldi

Living in Pittsburgh is wonderful because it is such a cultural city that offers everything from Broadway shows, to ballets, to symphony's and the list goes on.  This past weekend I had the chance to go see an orchestra perform the world known and beloved Vivaldi.
Normally when I see a ballet it is accomanied by an orchestra, but this was the first time I was going for just the music itself, so I wasn't exactly sure how I was going to feel about it, or if my attention span would hold.  But to be honest, it was one of the most mesmerizing experiences ever. They played Vivaldi's 'Four Seasons', and it was truly incredible how the same instruments can immitate the thought of fall, winter, spring and summer so perfectly.

I wasn't allowed to take pictures with my camera inside, hence why these are all iphone shots!

Here is a little taste of the lead violinist at his finest!
