Running through Barcelona

For the month of January my form of exercise consisted of walking to the pastelleria to get a chocolate pastry or practicing yoga to relieve myself of my oh so stressful life.
Right before I came to Barcelona I specifically bought new running shoes so I could explore the city through my favorite form of transportation, my feet. Sadly my shoes didn't hit the pavement until last week. But as soon as I started running, I remembered how good it felt to just get out there and go. While my month long break from running was relaxing, there is just something about lacing up my shoes, getting sweaty, and torturing my body for miles on end that sounds so perfect!
Today I went for a run. Didn't have a planned out route, nor have my watch, because I just wanted to explore; to my amazement I ran across some pretty incredible things all within a lovely nine mile run.
This is what I look like when I practice yoga.
I like big butts and I can not lie.
Side note: The name of the artist who created this structure, is Santiago.
Big shout out to my shoes, and taking me away to all these great sites! You're the best.
By the way, every single picture from this post was taken with my iphone as I was running. How incredible are iphone cameras?!
