I tried to think of something I'd like doing, that I would be good at (I hope) but is still practical and I could still make a living. It's hard to pick one thing to be passionate about. I've heard the phrase that "you should do what you like as a job and what you love as a hobby." And, I've found a lot of truth to that. Sounds like you're very open to exploring new things, which is great. You'll only get stuck when you get too afraid to take chances in life. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4577592762272644566.post-15818768198938024432011-06-13T19:14:11.484-07:002011-06-13T19:14:11.484-07:00totally agree with this post! However, like you said, many people take any ol' job because they have to pay the bills. Sad but true. Especially in this economy.

Honestly, I don't get terribly excited about my job, nor do I hate it. I guess you can say I tolerate it. But I always have that voice in my head that tells me, "Okay, just a few more months and I'm looking for another job--one that I really want". I am refusing to get stuck! And I think you have a great mentality. If you never settle for anything less than what you want (and you have the drive), then eventually you will have it.Jillianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18155881967321563680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4577592762272644566.post-41064934016476663822011-06-12T04:49:00.831-07:002011-06-12T04:49:00.831-07:00I think everyone worries about that!! I don't care if I'm not paid that much, I just want to make sure that I'm happy. No amount of money can take that away from me! I want to do so much more traveling in the future. The coolest place I've ever been is Barcelona. The culture was totally different, but in a good way. It was artsy and metropolitan and so completely different from what I'm used to! I love this post, I do. But getting stuck is ...LOL. I love this post, I do. But getting stuck is a what happens to a good 80% of people if I had to take my guess. I worked in the corporate world for six yrs and got stuck. However, I more than doubled my income within than time period and got into my routine. But I wasn't happy. Sometimes you do what you gotta do to get by (since I dont have anyone else helping me with bills) and it sucks, I'm 31 and have never had a job I've been excited about it. Blargh :( As your elder, I can say that I regret NOT traveling right out of college. Yeah, I moved out west but I wish I would have seen the world. Do it while you can!Tiffany @ Simply Shakahttp://simplyshaka.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
